First of all... happy belated bdae peng! hehe... hope that u enjoyed your day!
15 Aug is one of the most important daes... singapore had won its first silver medal after sooooooo long~ first silver medal after independence! I follow the match very closely... and there are times when its too intense for me to carry on watching... haha... but I still think that it was a very good match! good job ladies!!!
many people said that they dun like it when the players representing us are all from china... but i thought otherwise... cos our ancestors are from china too... they came over to singapore hoping for a better life... and that goes to the same as the table tennis ladies... singapore is able to offer better terms and condition for them, so why not? China is a big country, they have alot of resources and human talent, therefore the competition within the country is already very strong. to be able to stand up and outshine the others, they will have to be the top of the cream... and to be a representative to play in olympics, i believe the chances for them to join the game are even lower...
however, singapore is able to offer better terms for them, and if they are good, they will be able to represent singapore for the games... so why not? many says that we buy them over, and maybe after a few years, the players will return back to their country.... ya... then so what? if they think that singapore is not a place for them to stay... they have the freedom to leave... isn't it so? but what happen is that they are here to earn us medals and honour... and to bring up the sports spirit in us... many youngsters might be inspired to take up sports as their career because of them... and this will require a head start with someone who can bring singaporeans mindset to a higher level... to accept sports to be an career. isn't it so?
anyway, i am proud to have them here and i welcome them to take singapore as their home... this is like accepting foreign talents... what the government always says and what many organizations face today.

today wanted to go for career fair, but i couldn't finish my project... so change to the next day... went to work in the late afternoon

woke up early and went for the career fair... sent in a couple resumes... but companies that participate in the fair are mainly those jurong side de... not my cup of tea... hai... anyway...after that met my groupmates and we went to have our lunch at shokudoo... and we set off to my house for projects... lucky daddy is very tired that day so he didn't wake up in the afternoon to watch the games... otherwise, it would have been very weird... we did till quite late...
and today is the final match with singapore and china... so qi n wei jia stayed at my home to watch the game... actually more ppl watch quite fun leh... can see different ppl have different way of seeing things and can hear from each other point of views on a lot of things... hehe...

went for morning class... and then stayed back awhile to finish up the project and submit it... after which i went to pluck my eyebrow n forehead... and i am jus so hairy... lol.... went home and rest for abt half an hour before meeting mei for swimming in bishan... manage to swim for abt an hour.... and i am dead tired after that!

today went to buy my concealer in novena medical center, then went to collect my jap cert in orchard and then rush back to sch for projects... i need to mention and complain this... i almost walk half of orchard la!!!! cos i wasn't very sure of the roads in upper part of orchard road... so i didn't know where to get the bustop. so i ended walking a big big round before reaching the bustop and realised that i have a straight bus to sch! i was so happy cos i already spend alot of money on transportation! haha... i thought i would be late but i wasn't! hehe... today we finally settle on the 3 countries we will be doing for our global marketing project... and i will be researching on taiwan! hehe... my fav place! lalala... haven't start on the research but i hope to learn more abt the country!
after school, i went for an interview... and this is where and when i got cheated!!! and here comes my long story!
first i wanted to reject this interview as i was told tt this is like a part time job.... i already have so many things to do le... plus my jap class and dance class coming up... i dun think i can work on it man... but the contact person told me that it will be like a marketing position which brought my interest up... cos i study marketing and getting something nearby would be good... so i went... and as i had the intention of not going, i wore a pair of slippers out... so i need to get something before the interview... and i did! (*that was something nice of the whole bad experience).
i reached the place... and the person said that he will pick me up... i was expecting a car u see.... but instead i was pick up by legs... lol... and we walked over to his company... the person is soooooo much younger then me la!!! he is only lik 19!!!!! and when he intro the company... i was having some interest whereby it deals with biomedical stuff... and went i reached... he told me those ppl wearing a jacket are managers of the coy... i was like are u sure?!!!??!?!?!?!?! hey... they are like small boys wearing big shirts and blazor pretending to be adult la!!!! u know when u are young, u like to play with your mum's clothes and comestic... something like that...
i asked alot of questions... and one of them is like are u all dealing with MLM? he dare to tell me no la!!!!!! damn idiot one leh... lie to me straight in my face lor... and there was some presentation of the pdts that they "distribute" ( i call that selling instead of distribute lo) and also their pay rates and staff... and the presentor first slide was we are MLM la!!!!! and they even gave themselve some sofisicated name what networking dun know what la... damn idoit de... and after the presentation i rejected him indirectly, but he doesn't seems to get my hidden meaning... so i reject him again.... DIRECTLY... but he still hopes to get me in la... hai... no point son... no point... and asked me to help ask around see who is interested... well.. i did sent some msg out... as what i promised him... but that is all... ( i mention in my sms that its MLM... so ppl not interested can jus ignore yeah!) after the whole thing... i was cold, tired and hungry (forgot to mention that i didn't have my dinner when i reached cos there wasn't enough time) and i felt cheated@!!!!!!!! hai... damn angry w myself la! sian
